Manzambi double powers Switzerland to emphatic win over 10-man Bosnia

Switzerland produced a devastating late surge to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1 at SoFi Stadium, where 70,026 fans saw a contest break open in the final 20 minutes. What had been a measured Swiss performance turned emphatic once Bosnia were reduced to ten men, reviving Switzerland's campaign after their opening-day frustration against Qatar.

Bosnia's red card opens the door

The decisive moment arrived on 80 minutes when defender Tarik Muharemovic was shown a red card, leaving Bosnia a man short with the game still in the balance. Switzerland pounced almost immediately, Johan Manzambi breaking the deadlock on 74 minutes and then striking again on 90 to put the result beyond doubt.

A late goal rush
